I joined JP Trusted Advisor in 2019, with extensive experience in both child protection and host family support. Transitioning to the disability sector after working in child protection was a natural step for me, having always been drawn to work that supports individuals at risk or in high need of support. It’s been a journey I didn’t anticipate when I was studying Psychology and Human Resource Management at university, but one I am incredibly passionate about.

In my role as Team Leader and Specialist Support Coordinator at JPTA, I support clients by helping them build their capacity to understand their NDIS plan, implement their plan, coordinate their services and continue to plan for the future. My role is very diverse and each day brings something new - from supporting the JPTA team to coordinating with stakeholders - all with the participant’s needs at the heart of our work. One of the most satisfying aspects of my role is seeing the hard work that goes into developing a new plan implementation that helps our client’s reach their personal goals.
