JP Trusted Advisor - Specialist Support Coordinator

My inspiration to work in the disability sector stems from a deep believe in equality and empowerment for everyone. With more than 10 years’ experience working in the disability sector, including state-level management roles in disability employment; as a Specialist Support Coordinator, I am driven by the opportunity to support individuals in helping them achieve their personal goals. Witnessing the unique challenges faced by people with disability and the potential for positive change is what continues to fuel my passion.

Having almost completed my Diploma of Mental Health, as a Specialist Support Coordinator I specialise in people with psychosocial disabilities and disability employment.

Since joining JP Trusted Advisor in 2022, I have had the privilege of working within a team committed to inclusivity, empowerment and collaboration to create meaningful change - values which align closely with my own.

Working together and getting to know each individual’s needs, preferences and goals helps us to tailor personalised support plans that genuinely help empower our clients to reach their aspirations.

The most rewarding part of my role is seeing impact of our work. Building meaningful connections, advocating for our clients’ rights and witnessing the changes that bring them closer to their goals through the supports they need to live their life the way they choose is incredibly rewarding - whether it is celebrating a significant achievement or a quieter, yet equally meaningful milestone.

When I am not at work, I am an avid photographer, I love spending time outdoors and going for long walks, and being with my husband, our daughter and our staffy, Reggie.
